Bimi® awarded an ‘Outstanding’ two-star Superior Taste Award

We are incredibly proud to announce that Bimi® has secured the ‘Outstanding’ two-star Superior Taste Award from the International Taste Institute, following blind evaluation by an independent jury of international chefs and sommeliers…proving we really are Broccoli But Better!

The Superior Taste Award, organised by the Brussels-based International Taste Institute, is a globally recognised certification for food and beverage brands. Products are assessed against five recognised sensory criteria — first impression, vision, olfaction, taste and texture — and rated on a one-to-three star system to reflect different levels of exceptional quality.

During the evaluation, Bimi® achieved an average score of 85.9, securing a two-star result classed by the International Taste Institute as “outstanding”. The jury described Bimi® as “a very impressive product”, praising its fresh, authentic vegetal character, well-balanced, distinctive flavour, rich, natural aroma, crisp yet tender texture, and vibrant green colour and elegant presentation.

The news was announced during Fruit Logistica 2026, where we also unveiled Bimi®’s new brand identity on our first ever fully branded, dedicated stand. Designed to align its identity across international markets and elevate its premium positioning with consumers, Bimi®’s new look includes an updated logo and refreshed packaging.

Visitors to our stand were also able to learn more about how we continue to deliver long-term value for growers, licensees and retailers across Europe and beyond, supported by consistent consumer demand and premium positioning. On-stand activity included the launch of a visitor competition to win a barbecue, alongside live show-cooking sessions, giving attendees the opportunity to taste Bimi® prepared in a variety of ways.
